1. How It Works & What It Costs
- The Service: Brainy Boomer is an AI phone companion. It can chat about the weather, play word games, tell jokes, fetch information (like when your favorite team plays next), and be an infinitely patient friend.
- Pricing: Our target subscription price is $9.99/month. Running a super-smart, talking AI isn’t cheap!
- Who Can Sign Up: You can sign up for yourself, a friend, or an older family member. It makes a great gift!
- Fair Billing: We don’t want your money unless you actually use the service. Billing only begins after the user calls in for their second time. If it’s a gift they never use, you won’t pay a dime.
2. Automated Calls & Consent
- You Call First: We will never call a new user out of the blue. The service does not begin until the user makes the first call to us.
- Check-ins and Reminders: A loved one can set up this account for regular check-in calls. During these calls, the AI can even deliver scheduled reminders.
- Getting Permission: The AI will ask for your permission before making any automated calls, and you can tell the AI to stop anytime.
- Easy Rescheduling: You can easily change your call schedule to pick a new time or day just by telling the AI.
3. What We Are NOT (The Serious Stuff)
- Not a Doctor: We never provide medical diagnoses or drug-dosage advice. Brainy Boomer is not a medical treatment and is not FDA-approved to treat, cure, or alter the course of dementia or any medical condition.
- Not a Broker: We never give financial advice. Please do not ask our AI how to invest your retirement fund!
- Not Human: Our AI is programmed to be a free-spirited, funny, and friendly companion. However, AI can sometimes be unpredictable. Anyone can call in, but you agree to use this service at your own risk.
4. Updates & Changes
We are always upgrading Brainy Boomer with new entertainment, mental exercises, and safety features. We reserve the right to change these terms at any time.
